>And by the way - say what you will about Trump - but he is in Louisiana right now, physically lending a hand with flood victims. Where is President Obama? Continuing to vacation on the golf course (figures).
>Clinton isn't there either, though I'll acknowledge that she is asking people to donate to the Red Cross. (And truthfully, given her physical condition, she probably is better off not being there )
Physically helping by both candidates is clearly only video material generation. If the best a candidate can do is lend a physical hand, he should not be running for that office ;-))
If Trump is smart, he will offer 10% of his nearly non-existing budget for TV ads, try to shame HRC to do the same. When she refuses, as she would loos oodles more, he can prefix all his ads with a short card explaining that due to him helping by slashing his TV funds, the msgs will be shorter. Might get thumbs up by all bleeding hearts and TV junkies hating more ads ;-)

>What has the Obama administration helped with? Well, they sent a nice little care package (courtesy of the DOJ) to Louisiana, in the form of a memo warning the state against engaging in unlawful discrimination on basis of race, color, origin, etc. with regard to federal disaster assistance.
No way for me to be certain, but from the things reported here from Katrina AND race unrest this year not unwarranted...
