>I have MSNBC and rarely watch it- it really is awful. I don't have Fox News but watch it occasionally while vistiing those who do.
>Both are ridiculously biased and useless, but of the two I have to say that I find Fox more entertaining.
>The MSNBC people are too self-righteous for my taste.

>I will agree that both of them are biased, but I really believe that Fox News at least tries to give the liberal POV as well as the conservative on many topics. I generally watch Fox and Friends in the morning while I am getting ready for the day and I have seen Heraldo Rivera speaking on the same topic as Judge Jeanine Pirro. Heraldo is not exactly what I would call a conservative. Among the liberal Fox contributors, beside Heraldo, are Juan Williams, Bob Beckel and Alan Colmes to name just a few. I occasionally watch CNN and the network news and I have not noticed any regular conservatives contributors on any of them...

For news I read my local newspaper, nytimes.com and, occasionally, cnn.com.
For up to date information on breaking news, cnn.com is the best, I find.

For opinion on TV, I watch CSPAN , which I think is the most underrated resource on TV.
CSPAN rarely does 'gotcha' interviews. When a conservative has written a book, they'll usually bring in a conservative to do the interview and ditto with liberals. I want to hear what the author has to say, not how clever the interviewer is.

This weekend they let Seymour Hesch talk for a couple of hours about his writing on the Osama Bin Laden raid.

Bascially they just let him talk.
Fascinating stuff, but not entertaining enough for the cable news shows.
They do panels at conservative and liberal think tanks that run for hours. You can learn a lot by listening to unhurried and thoughtful discussions.

PBS was once a good source, but it should now be called PCN - Political Correctness Network- and it's useless.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
