Thanks everyone. These people are very easy to work with and are going to allow the shift to .cdx files. Next step of course is to get all the tables in a DBC, and I will probably be able to get them to let us use SDT too. Of course my goal is to move all these tables (and there is like 3,400 of them!) to SQL Server.
