Hi again Sorin,
So the code was not that long once copied into my functions. I could not "leave it be" figuring some day I would need to know it and I would have to go searching all over again. Works great. Couple small errors in the sample code (no return value on the main function and a couple of "messText" vars not declared local) but those were easy to find and fix.
Noticed you still have a customer on Novell. What I started on. There were things about Novell that were better right out of the box (as far as directory/file permissions and seeing who did what - all things you can get working in Windows (i.e. auditing) but ahead of its time in some ways). But then, lots of things a lot harder. Overall, glad I am not supporting it anymore.
Thanks again.
Albert
