>Order should not matter AFAIK, but I would use BINTOC() on the integer expression for the index. If you are combining the two together you have to convert the integer. If separate, then one can be the primary and the second a candidate. But once you set the order in the index the matching expression has to have the same order.

This is SQL Server database, not VFP. Do you still think that BINTOC() should be used?
