I'll have to give that a try over the course of a couple of days.
This client is one of the TOP 5 medical centres in the US and I just cannot go arround and throw new versions in.

I'll first go with my first haunch... the datasession problem, as I already have seen that before.
If that is not it, I'll go for that

As for the virus scanner, that definately is a problem for our application. The temp files that VFP creates are being scanned and have a significant effect on performance.
For now I have disabled the use of SYS(1104) as it force every cursor that previously lived in memory to be written to disk as a temp file.
