>>>I've not said much about either candidates, so in what way am I on a witch hunt? But I'm glad you confirmed that you are.
>>>But of course that was obvious to anyone else.

>>>I have not confirmed anything. Your responses prove that you are totally anti-American and on a witch hunt of your own. I was just trying to get you to admit your own prejudices. My mistake - I already knew that this was a waste of my time. I refuse to waste any more of my valuable time on the likes of you...

>>Seems an awful lot like a confesion to me. I'm very curious in which responses in this thread can be classified as anti-american. I probably spend more time in the US than you are abroad.

>Last time I checked, openly expressing your opinion is hardly anti-american - as matter of fact it's one of the most American things you can do - ya know the freedom of speech thing and all ... lol lol

>This goes back to something I mentioned here before - that for some unknown reason a lot of people in the USA seem to think that if you're for one thing, that means you must be against something else. You can't be pro black-lives-matter and pro-police, you can''t be against a war and still support the troops, and apparently you can't say America does some dumb things without being labeled anti-America. This dim-witted thinking keeps people from finding things that they see eye-to-eye with someone and instead just view them as an adversary - when in reality, for the most part, they really want the same thing. I've wondered in recent years is this is primarily a cultural thing unique the us USA or if there are people like that everywhere. My uneducated guess on the subject is that while it's not unique the USA, it's a hell of a lot more prevalent here that any many other countries. but of course that is uneducated guess as my foreign travels are not only very limited, but also were a few decades ago.
The thing is that I never experience this when I'm in the US. Whenever I talk to people, republican, democrat, green party or libertian I always see a more balanced viewpoint that the utterly stupidity you see in the media.
