>I have an application written in VFP 9 that I am having an issue with the report builder app while in the runtime environment. I want to give users the ability to take a report template that already has their customer orders table loaded in the data environment. I copy the template into a new report file and allow them to run a MODIFY REPORT command to select the fields they want to report. The problem I am having is that in the development environment I can select the table in the data environment and right click on it to access the table properties. This lets me modify the filter on the table and the order. However, in the runtime environment, the properties option is available, but does not bring up the dialog window to allow changing the properties. Is there something I am missing to allow this at runtime?

If I'm not mistaken - you can't do that. I think Microsoft doesn't allow it and it's against the user agreement. I think each user would have to have a paid copy of VFP to do that. Maybe someone else here can confirm this...??
