Monopolies lead to results like this.
We got stories like this- and worse- when ATT ruled the telecom world.
It's not public vs private.
It's monopoly vs choice.
It has nothing to do with unions. Monopoly is the issue.
People should be able to choose a school as they choose a dermatologist.
And.. and this is the clinker, schools should be able to choose students.
Free education has to become a privilege, not a duty.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
