Pretty rare with Win7 machines. ISTR running into one a few years ago, it was a laptop used only during board meetings (i.e. just a few times a year) and not connected to the Internet even when it was in use.
It's still easy to download and install SP1. And MS has even started offering update rollups so you don't have to download and install 200+ separate updates to bring a new SP1 installation up to date.
>(shrug) You never know -- I remember situations where I'd run across XP systems that didn't have any SP installed -- this was a few years after SP2 had been out. In those cases it became an issue only after they tried to install some software that wanted at least SP1.
