Good example of knowing bad legislation is when some dillweed says we should ban members of a particular religion from entering the country and monitor the members o f that religion that are already here. I'm also smart enough to know that I don't know everything and at some point I need depend upon the wisdom of someone else - and I'm smart enough to know that picking a racist for that is bad ideal.
