But there is more to it than just that. Change the status quo to what? Trump's policies include giving tax breaks to the rich, building a giant wall, and being as racist as one can be. That hardly seems like an improvement. HRC would be more progressive, will work to raise the insanely low minimum wage, and provide college education. Trump doesn't even think there should be a minimum wage.
>Seems obvious to me why so many decent Americans favor Trump. They forgive him his rants because he represents desperately needed change. Those still locked in factionalism believing blacks and hispanics will never vote for him, better hope that Trumpites don't start pushing the message that for people who don't think it can get any worse, why lock in more of the same? So old grandpa has a foul mouth- but who cares if he's going to try to bring back some jobs. Anything is better than another round of nothing.
When Trump says "what have you got to loose" - well there is a rather extensive list of things if he's elected. Our international relations will suffer greatly with that blowhard as our leader.
>BTW I expect to be in your neck of the woods later this year, so this time we should catch up!
Indeed. I'm actually not in Hawaii at the moment - but I should be back that way before too much longer (as it might start to get cold here..eeek eeek) I stay on Oahu - if you stop at that island be sure to let me know - I'll show ya all the cool spots and the good eats places - and I have a spare surfboard if you dare :)
