>>Check your facts, John.
>>I never mentioned Medicare.
>>I mentioned FICA, which by every estimate, will be broke unless something is done. By those same estimates, lifting the cap will make it solvent well into the next decade.

Here's what you said:

BF> She did however oppose eliminating the cap on FICA and Medicare contributions- which will make both sound into the next decade- till Bernie forced her into it.

>>If you feel good saying that small business owners will be devastated by paying an extra 7.5% on wages over $118K, enjoy it.

If you feel good denying that you ever mentioned Medicare, enjoy it.

The reality is that the people who caused the deficit, really ought to make up their own shortfall before supporting/scoffing at extra costs to be imposed on others to start undoing all those years of underpayment since 1993.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
