Well that doesn't seem to always work either - plenty examples of cops committing crimes (including murder) where they don't get in trouble for it.

Do you believe that anyone other than cops ever commit crimes? I sure hope that you never see the day when you have to ask a cop for help - considering how much you appear to hate them.

Yes the guilty ones- depending upon the crime. Society would be better served if some of the guilty ones were not though - take for example all of the first-time non-violent drug offenders that are clogging our judicial system and jails - no point in them being there if you ask me.

Call Ripley. We actually agree on this one. I think that drug use should be de-criminalized. If you want to put an end to drug use, you need to go after the suppliers, not the small time users. The only issue I can see with de-criminalizing drug use is when people who are addicted to very expensive drugs turn to crime in order to support their habits. In this case, we have a problem that effects someone other than the stupid drug user.
