Any thoughts are appreciated as I am going to have to buy a new computer within the next few months and looking for some thoughts to help me decide how to deal with this. I am just making sure it is just not me with concerns or some problems.

FWIW my main development machine is now on Win10. Happened automatically which p****d me off at the time but I've actually found it 'snappier' then Win7 (was on Ultimate, skipped Win8)
Once I adapted to the IDE I also found I liked it better than Win7

Little things:
VPN connections now complete far more quickly
IE loads far faster.
Surprisingly a couple of old apps which would not work in Win7 run fine in Win10 - lucky since there's no XP mode in Win10
Can't comment on the latest update since I haven't got it on this machine - but I did install it on another machine without any of the problems mentioned elsewhere. Whole thing took about 5 mins. after the upload and has shown no problems.
