Certainly. My unspoken assumption was that you might need to do some work "on the other side" where the tree is in "native variable space" might be easier in another dynamically typed language calling from vfp ;-)

That said, from error description (guessing that you have valid JSON and the line show was only an excerpt, so Hank just saw the correct working first occurrence) it should be not too difficult to debug and fix - sounds like a wrong node being accessed or written to.

A minimized test script of valid JSON showing the error might have been better, as Hank already fired his version up and you probably already sent such to the author ;-)
