Unfortunately, in the default mode the url returns / and path returns nothing. The absUrl returns the full correct path. So, I can not figure out if it's either possible to get rid of the Items/Preferences part in the path. It only works correctly in Html5 mode. I guess I have to leave with the window.location.href and full page re-load approach as it was.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
