The Twizy only goes 50mph so you can't take it on the highway and only has a range of about 60 miles, don't think it has side windows (maybeit does??) - aaand it costs more. Plus you can't get them in the USA as far as I know. The Elio seems like a better choice for those reasons - and it's safer. I like the fact that's it's smaller though - the Elio is still pretty long so the Twizy would be easier o park.

On an island the range should be enough for most drives: extended round island shopping trips you would still make with a car having a trunk. More than half of the car driving I currently do is to avoid female dress and similar arguments, and the weather in Hawaii would be much better for Twizy and motorbike compared to our stuff. Side windows can be ordered, but as it has no heating I probably would not bother.
