I remember back in 2002 we went to meet a bunch a friends to celebrate Steve Dingle's 40th birthday in Crete. Andy and I decided to fly Monarch - one of the el cheapo holiday planes from London to Heraklion. It was a four hour flight and I was truly miserable sitting there with my knees up my nose the entire time. I wondered how normal sized people could handle the flight. Never again!
