Yes, I was able to create a login app in about 30 mins (maybe a little longer) without knowing much about the product. I used atom (the editor built with electron) to create the project and get it going. That said, my concern is simple - will it last? I could see myself moving from python to electron if I believed in the long term future of electron. Using the css and html to create the UI was a pleasure to work with - but the node JS connection to the database took most of the time (actually ended up with a copy and paste to get it to work). But there seems to be very little in support from the electron community. Instead what I see is the node guys along with the js framework guys doing all the talking. Then the conversation includes electron almost as an after thought. You are the first person that I have spoken too that actually had something to say with regard to the future of electron.
Thanks,
Joihnf
