Although I notice that Mitch McConnell has said that Donald Trump must apologize for his "repugnant" comments about women, but I haven't seen him withdraw his support yet. I will be interested to see if he does now that I've seen Trump "apologize" on his 90 second long video. I think the GOP should just punt - ya know just punt the ball to the Democrats this time around and re-group for 2020 - because this is looking like a lost cause.

I am amazed that the American people doesn't make a list of which qualifications their president must have before they choose their nominees. This time one of the candidates wouldn't even have fulfilled one of these requirements. It's ironic how well Buck Owens' hit from 1963 describes DT: "The biggest fool that's ever hit the big time, and all I got to do is act naturally."
