>>So now, after all the crazy things Trump as said - this audio of him talking about a woman is the final straw for many of the GOP to withdraw their support? THIS is the final straw? Geeze what a bunch of baffons - took long enough - geeze. Although I notice that Mitch McConnell has said that Donald Trump must apologize for his "repugnant" comments about women, but I haven't seen him withdraw his support yet. I will be interested to see if he does now that I've seen Trump "apologize" on his 90 second long video. I think the GOP should just punt - ya know just punt the ball to the Democrats this time around and re-group for 2020 - because this is looking like a lost cause.

>It's pretty nauseating, but it follows a GOP pattern of suddenly understanding a problem when it affects your family. (See, for example, Rob Portman on gay marriage.) These guys stayed on board while Trump encouraged neo-Nazis, insulted a Muslim Gold Star family, degraded a Latina Miss Universe, called for banning all Muslims, etc., etc. But when they realized they couldn't leave their daughters alone with him in a room, now there's a problem.

Yes this is the case - but the fact that it took this long still makes no sense to me. Take a look at Ted Cruz for example - during the primary after Trump insulted his wife and had said a bunch of other stuff Ted said that he wouldn't be able to look at his daughters in the face if he supported Trump - then sure enough he ends up doing TV commercials for the guy and deciding to support him. What happened there? And how were all these other bozo's able to supposedly face their families and support a racist? And it's not like he hasn't had a disparaging attitude towards women for decades. Nooow all of sudden they jump up and down and and though a hissy fit about it? If these jokers had any real morals or backbone they would of disavowed Trump right from the start.

>I have slightly more respect for the ones who actually withdrew endorsements last night than for those who condemned the remarks but continued to support Trump, but not a whole lot.

I'm glad some of them actually withdrew endorsements - but I really don't have any more respect for them than the ones who have not - not one bit - because they should of done it long ago. Too late to make a difference to me.
