Trump has a potty mouth. Who would have thought.

FWIW, in 2005 when he said this stuff, I had to deal with sexist board members all the time. It was an eye-opener after I trained in a discipline where women obviously are equal or superior in some respects. A little before that, some of the predominantly female US healthcare associations had to set rules after events became notorious for predatory behavior by mature salesmen targeting tipsy innocent administrators. I won't name names. Point is that Trump spent his days in this sort of environment where it was heroic for married men to grab and have their way with startled little fillies... and Trump almost certainly embellished his exploit accounts so he'd be the biggest and best. The context given today is not the context in which he was boasting. Not excusing the vileness, but it's not as if Trump has been going around doing and saying these things in 2016.

Anyway: people worried about Trump's potty mouth a decade ago, might be better spending a few hours looking at websites such as kaotic.com made freely available to teenagers. Videos of witches being burned, people been beaten to death, sexual abuse etc are presented for commentary and rating by the audience. Check out the comments to confirm that lewd stories that some people used to tell each other, are replaced by misogyny and inhumanity being watched and casually normalized in vast tracts of society. How typical that politicians rear up about a potty mouth at dinner without noticing that the whole ranch is on fire.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
