Hi,
New installation of my app with SQL Server. I created a user in the SQL Server (this is SQL 2012 Express) and assigned the role of Owner.
I can connect to the SQL Server from SSMS using my created user ID and password.
But when I try to connect from my app, using the same credentials, the connection is denied.
I have checked the in the SQL Configuration Manager the TCP/IP is enabled and the SQL is listening on port 1433. The only thing (so far) I find is that the SQL Server Agent and SQL Server Browser stopped. Do I need any of these?
Or any other suggestions?
