I succeeded to make it work.

The default icons created are making references to executables from the root of the installation. But, when executing a command line, there is a sub directory cmd which includes Git.exe. When using that one from Visual Studio, using the Process class, I can control the flow of operation.

The output is also collected.

This now works.
