>I've been called on two of my phone numbers with an attempted scam in the last week - now there is a scam going on that claims there is some new law that allows you to clear up your college debt. I find that rather amusing as I suspect most college educated folks wouldn't fall for it. Last time they called I actually hit 1 to talk to someone just to see if they sounded like they were calling from overseas - they didn't have an accent so I think these scammers are working inside the USA. I pointed out that there was no such law - they hung up quickly and haven't called back.

I hang up, and tell the router to transmit those number to the killfile further on. Same as every advertisement or survey call goes.
Calls without callernumber will not be recieved at all.
Surveys normal hung up after I ask for a address to send a bill. I don not give out information for free.
(Never. But for example this place pays back more then I give. :) )
