I fail to see the relation between your annual budget and electing a proper candidate.
So are you telling me you can't elect a proper presedent because you spend a huge amount on defense?

Please enlighten me. Why do americans spend the most money on healthcare per capita of all nations world wide while only receiving mediocre quality?
Are you telling me that with spending more money on healthcare it automatically leads to inferiour quality? Or are there perhaps other causes?

I think John answered that one. And to be honest, there were a lot of unknowns at that point regarding WMD that only got revealed much later. I think Europe would have acted much differently if they knew what they know now.
