When she's an adult, sure. But my daughter is 7 and won't be an adult for a decade.

There are reasons for age-of-consent laws. I don't care how savvy a 12 or 14 or 16 year old female is, she's still a minor and still shouldn't be put in harm's way. Keep in mind, formal consent is a legal term. There's a reason why minors are not subject to whether or not they consent. There are manipulative creeps every year who lure underage girls in many ways (internet chat rooms/social media being a big one).
