>>she always will have the moral high ground on sexual politics over Trump.
This notion that morality or civility is a predictor of success for a president is nonsense.
If all the ex-presidents who had fondled women were rounded up, there wouldn't be enough room in the White House for them.
Doris Kearns Goodwin smiles when she says that when she was a press assistant for LBJ, she wouldn't go in a room alone with him.
Fondling?
How about attempted murder?
I'm reading Jon Meacham's marvellous biography of Andrew Jackson right now.
Andrew Jackson was a bigamist who had failed in his attempt to murder Thomas Hart Benton.
Benton was armed when Jackson attacked him and he shot Jackson in self-defense. The MD said that Jackson's blood "filled two matresses" and he barely survived.
Jackson carried a bullet from another adversary in his body till he died.
Jackson was elected twice and is included in most top ten president lists.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
