Gotta do it: I had said earlier that the Clinton Foundation does well at getting funds to the coal face.
But does it? In October an Economist article says only 68% reaches the coal face. Uh oh. That's not the 10% they keep saying in the conservative press, but nor is it the minimum 80% threshold expected of a credible charity.
And then today there's this from a deacon who runs a special school in Haiti for kids who can't afford tuition:
