About 12 years ago, someone (whose name I won't mention) started a website called "
http://www.notsorryeverybody.com", after Bush defeated Kerry. (The site is now gone and replaced with something totally different, by someone else)
If I didn't detest Trump so much, I'd consider starting a similar site.
This "group stupidity", "I can't believe morons voted for him" misses the mark that I (and many others) have said for years. HRC was not just bad, but apocalyptically bad. The DNC put their energy behind a political equivalent of a "lemon" - certainly behaving unethically in trying to push her through the DNC primaries. And even still, her opponent (Sanders) won 22 states.
I expected a very close election but thought HRC would win a close one. So I'm surprised.
There is some interesting analysis right now - that HRC particularly underperformed in some of the states where Sanders one. That point is huge.
I don't begrudge anyone for voting for Trump (nor do I criticize anyone who voted for HRC). HRC had all the conventional advantages, but yet she lost. Because she has always been a bad candidate.
Comey didn't beat her. The Rs really didn't beat her. And even though Trump one, the story of this election is that HRC beat HRC.
