This morning (it's tomorrow morning here) I read an article about why the media got it so wrong. So far, they still don't get it. JB is right that they imagine a feral underclass that gave it to Trump.
IMHO (bear with me!) the issue is that the MSM and political elites think everybody is worried about first world dilemmas. They think everybody shares their preoccupation about whether the cave paintings should be in green or purple ochre and whether a boy or girl should be the painter.
Meanwhile the hunters are saying they saw a sabre toothed tiger again this morning and want a bigger fire at the entrance.
