Well that is logical and makes sense - so that argument might fall upon deaf ears. Part of the problem here is that all the police unions will be against it - because now they will have to actually spend time catching criminals instead of harassing a guy with a joint - and sadly there is a large number of for profit privately own prisons in this country - which is horrible of course because it invites the desire to lock people up for stupid crap like this, and also keep people locked up longer - and needless to say the last thing they want to see is legal weed. If anyone has ever had a loved one go through chemotherapy and see how much weed helps the person I suspect they would also be all for it. Interestingly the federal government owns the patent on weed for medial use, but at the same time the federal government also classifies it as a schedule 2 drug that has no medial benefit. Hypocrisy and stupidity at it's finest.
