Charles Krauthammer brought up an interesting point....in 2010, 2014, and now 2016, the Dems got their proverbial clocks cleaned. They didn't merely suffer losses, they were pummeled. Each time, one way or another, the "Obama's policies are on the ballot" was a central theme. Each time, Americans responded. It was only in 2012 that the Dems scored a victory, and that was when Obama was running. If anyone wants substantial proof that Obama success is nothing but "cult of personality", it's right there.

People often talk about "Obama's legacy". Well, the following statement is a major IF....IF Trump and the Rs manage to undo some of the mess of the last eight years (and I'll grant that's a major IF)....then Obama's legacy will be Donald Trump.
