"Riot" is the MSM's word, though I agree the protests weren't really riots. But Trump effigies were burnt or paraded through the streets hanging by their necks. That's fairly violent.

Ironically, Trump was castigated for not promising to uncritically accept the result (which he didn't - law suit alleging irregularities brought in at least one state... Oregon?) But now Generation Snowflake comes out protesting not that the election was corrupted or unfair, but because they don't like the result.

I tried to listen to some of the speeches, but the posturing and weepy unburdening of all the world's ills onto Trump, was too much to stomach.

Meanwhile Trump has taken inflammatory stuff about Muslims and so forth, down off his website.

Seems to me that people need to at least give him a chance rather than throwing their toys out of the safe space/cot because they live in a Republic.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
