>>i do not understand why it would be a wise idea to give a racist homophobic islamaphob sexist "the benefit of the doubt". Generally it's a good idea to predict what someone is going to say and do in the future by looking at what they have said and done in the past. I certainly hope he will completely change everything about himself after his 70 years on the planet - but I'm not foolish enough to go into this giving him the 'benefit of the doubt'. This seems about as bright as putting a child alone in a room with a sex predator and giving them the 'benefit of the doubt'.
>
>There's only one thing that's "less bright" than what you just described - running a bad candidate in the first place.
>
>I've said this repeatedly - the DNC ran a big risk in pushing HRC as hard as they did. If the stakes were so high in going up against a "racist homophobic", then the DNC should have realized that pushing a candidate with a high unapproval rating was risky.
>
>I already mentioned that Trump won 30 of the 50 states - that is compelling. But here's something even bigger. HRC won fewer states (20) in the presidential election than Sanders won in the primaries (22).
>
>Please consider something else. In 2008, John McCain won 22 states. In 2012, Mitt Romney won 24 states, In 2016, HRC won 20 states. HRC had every conventional advantage imaginable: a huge campaign apparatus, the support of a president with an amazingly high approval rating right now and an inexperienced opponent. She held all the cards - and yet she lost rather badly.
>
>And now I see she is playing the blame game. She will never look in the mirror and acknowledge just how much Americans grew tired of this cultural condescension.
>
>The DNC had a red flag (no pun intended) staring them in the face - that HRC struggled in the primaries. Well, she ran her usual bad campaign, giving little access to the press and granting few interviews, and that just solidified the perception of her.

I 100% agree with you there Kevin. Putting HRC up against anyone was a very risky move - and frankly I think it was a stupid move. I'm think that if Sanders would of been on the ticket he would of won the election. And he sure would of run a better campaign than her.
