Nothing is wrong with that. However, my understanding is that a safe space is somewhere you can go to *avoid* exposure to peers with alternative viewpoints.
Saw an interesting meme on Facebook today:
In 1943, 18-year-olds stormed the beaches in France to almost certain death.
In 2016, 18-year-olds need safe spaces in case they hear a hurty word.
