>how do you feel about the fact Hilary polled more votes than Donald.

>You mean the "popular" vote? I have already made my position clear. IMHO, if we went strictly with the popular vote, we would never have anything but a democrat in the office, That is because the high density population areas are Washington, Oregon, California, New York and New Jersey. It really does not seem fair that around 5 states should have control over who governs the entire country. Anyway, that is irrelevant. Trump is our president elect.

>Interesting that Donald also has spoken before about the need for electoral reform. i wonder if that will be a policy he follows up on.

>I would say that a strong turn to the right on the basis of a minority vote undermines democracy. Politicians need to remember to represent those who didn't vote for them as well as those who did

>ROFL and LOL!!!! Sorry. Just couldn't resist. And I am quite certain that I will be flamed for saying this but I still believe in freedom of speech. Although I sincerely doubt that the country is going suddenly move to the right of Attila the Hun (historically we have been a center right country), it would be just desserts for some after Obama took such a strong turn to the left ;) Too bad that Obama was not concerned with governing the entire country - IMHO, he spent much the last 8 years pandering to his base and playing golf. Perhaps Trump will do a better job (I don't think that he could do worse - the USA is more divided after 8 years of Obama than it has been in a long time)

I always find the American definition of left and right amusing. To me your parties are very right and right.
I don't think any candidates where advocating nationalisation of key industries and Obamacare was nowhere near a National health Service paid for by general taxation
