Nicholas, it's not known for certain if Hillary indeed won the popular vote. There are no standards across states for absentee ballots, and some states admit they don't count them on time, if the strength of victory in the state already exceeds the total # of absentee ballots. And given that absentee ballots generally favor the Rs over the Ds by a 2-1 margin...

But even if HRC did win by a few hundred thousand votes, other factors are FAR more compelling:

- Trump won 30 of 50 states.
- HRC won 20 states. That's lower than Romney's state count in 2012 and McCain's state count in 2008
- HRC won less states than Sanders won in the Primaries
- Trump won the EV count by more than just a few points
- Trump won in states where he was given ZERO chance of winning.

It is really irrelevant if indeed HRC won by a few hundred thousand votes. When measured up against the points I just mentioned, a small popular vote win is not an interesting argument.
