Trump has repudiated both groups. As he suggested, only the Media Party and its ilk continue to go on and on about it, as if they're trying to make the mud stick.
Unless I'm mistaken, the constitution actually allows free speech for deplorables as well as decent people, so Trump can't shut people up or stifle alternative viewpoints just because they embarrass him.
