Sure - but this guy is no Robert Byrd - he still holds many of his racist views. One thing to make a mistake 50 years ago and atone for it - it's another to be still making the mistakes. Here is an idea - Trump should consider not picking someone like this for Attorney General to begin with. There are plenty of qualified people for the job - why pick someone as controversial this? ..especially seeing how people are already upset with the racist talk and actions of Trump to the point where they've taken to the streets. Seems like a rather dumb idea. Hardly brings any unity to the country does it?
