Robert, I have developed in both languages (PB and VFP).

Access is out - he "wants to cover his bases".

PB is good but the language and data_handling is nowhere near as robust as VFP.

VFP will do it all, faster, more complete. Less brick walls to run into.

Remember, it's not just "his bases" that need covering but your #$% as well.
Use VFP, a tool that will "keep on giving".
