>>>I recieved my Microsoft This week newsletter via email and what do my wandering eyes see but a html link to an article called 'Build Database Apps with Visual FoxPro 6.0' and a little article description of 'Get the inside scoop on the new version of this tool for building database applications. Or jump straight to any of our five technical articles, all written by the experts on the Visual FoxPro team. ' Well that is a first more me to see that from my weekly Microsoft newsletter. I hope the trend continues.

>>This refers to the MSDN articles on VFP that have been posted for a week or so. As an update, an interview with John Rivard, the VFP development lead was posted after the other articles. In his interview, John talks about some things we'll see in the next version of VFP.

Just a short remarks John,

"The next release also will focus on traditional FoxPro developer who builds one- and two-tier applications. We'll add various features to improve their RAD experience, as well as add features to make Visual FoxPro integrate well with the next release of Visual Studio."
