>I used to think people "turning green" was a figure of speech, but within 10 seconds his face literally did just that. He ran to the nearest bathroom, slammed the door and blew chunks.
As a kid we often ate Italian - Spaghetti Vongole seldom, but sometimes. Just before turning teenager I spent summer vacation in the mediterrenean. Arriving in one harbour in Spain the cook bought a basket of shells for supper. First shell went down, but somehow unpleasant.
Second one literally jumped into my mouth again after swallowing. Curious me swallowd same shell three times again - the last time already standing. When came up again I was already on deck ready to poison the fishes in the harbour with that shell after luring them in with my half-digested breakfast... Since then Paella and some other dishes are searched diligently, as my body is easy to habituate.
