There is no question that Obama excels at campaigning. It's a pity those skills didn't translate into better executive skills and ability to craft sustainable policy. And that's where Obama's criticism of the Ds losing touch is something he needs to own. Frequently he tries to take the high ground where he was responsible for "going low". That's one of my biggest issues with Obama - absolutely zero accountability.

But Marcia is also generally correct about Obama's complaining about Fox News. You have to look at the history - he and the Ds have frequently engaged in this namby-pamby existentialist whining about conservative media for years. Yes, Fox News gets some items wrong and they have taken *some* steps to try to address the more egregious ones - but their D.C. news bureau and investigative reporters like Catherine Herridge have raised very legitimate issues about the Obama administration.
