You mean "Flyover Country?" That's what the elite Washington crew calls it. Sounds similar to Wall Street traders referring to the general population as "the muppets." This is the 1% arrogance against which people are rebelling. Trump is part of the 1% but he doesn't go out of his way to insult voters.

Also fwiw, last week I met a woman who says she's been in real estate for years and has worked with Trump's firms, as have many of her associates. Her comment was "we have no respect for him." She would not say why, even when I observed that incantations and shadowy hints aren't very compelling. More to come... might turn out just to be another slur, or maybe not.
