Obama carried Indiana in 2008 and 2012.
The state has been devastated by the loss of jobs to countries with cheap labor forces.
It has a great work force and it's a natural place for pro-labor democrats to find ways to get those people back into the economy, or at least keep the remaining jobs from leaving.
Obama's GM bailout was probably his single best domestic accomplishment.
HC lost Michigan and Ohio, the two states that it benefited most.

Trump spent a lot of time in all of those states.
Michigan was close, but HC was clobbered in IN and OH.
A pro labor democrat should have won all of the states.

She never even mentioned the Carrier situation.
She couldn't.. she supported NAFTA.. which caused the problem.

Yes, we'll never know what Trump did, and we probably don't want to know.
But at least he paid attention to those people.
