>>Its a very unusual situation. Trumps business interests are huge. He's (I think) devolving them to his family. Thats not a blind trust . It may be the best he can manage. No ones been in this position before.

Agreed. I'm reminded of the nun who told me "if you can't think of something nice to say, say nothing." People ought to pipe down and give Trump a chance.

>>"Popular vote is a quaint irrelevance in the POTUS vote" maybe not. Its national Internet savvy politics now. The popular vote is not quaint. Its the future.

Certainly agree that popular vote is the basis of all the most successful societies/economies on earth apart from China and Russia and a few others. ;-) But *national* popular vote is not the selection process for PM or President. If people want President to be on the basis of national popular vote rather than electoral popular vote, they need to be calling for a change in process rather than quoting the wrong calculation because it suits their narrative.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
