No, we saw years of the Tea Party, and a Senate GOP leader who said that his primary goal was to make the President elected in a landslide a one-term President.

I will never do that. I love my country too much for that. I'll be fighting every day to ensure that we don't lose our basic civil rights and take this country back to the era when blacks, women, LGBT folks, Latinos, and immigrants had fewer rights than straight, white men.
