Are you saying that with the largest population of seniors we've ever had, there isn't an unprecedented number of voluntarily retired people. My inlaws live in a senior community where, at 88 and 86, they're not even close to the oldest folks around.

There you go again. All I am saying is that not everyone over 65 is retiring by choice. Unlike you, there are many folks who simply can't afford it. I am certain that the senior community where your in-laws live costs quite a pretty penny....
